Adolescents

Adolescence is a stage at which an individual is no longer a child nor an adult, life definitely gets more complex at this stage as one attempts to find their own identity, struggles with social interaction, and grapples with moral issues. Adolescents have the task of discovering who they are as individuals separate from their family of origin and as members of a wider society. There are therefore many challenges facing this developmental stage, which can cause role confusion and upheaval.
